Choose who can build, open containers and use your plots.
Your plot
- A town claim belongs to the town until a resident is given or buys the plot. Stand on the plot and use
/plot permto inspect it. - Use
/plot claimto buy an available for-sale plot. Check the price and town rules first. A plot purchase is separate from the town’s daily taxes. /plot forsale <amount>offers a plot for sale when your role allows it;/plot notforsalewithdraws the offer.
Permissions and trust
- Plot permissions control building, destroying, switching containers or controls, and using items. Read the current permissions before changing them.
- Use
/plot trust add <player>only for someone you intend to trust, and/plot trust remove <player>to remove that access. - Town-wide defaults and plot-specific rules are separate. Use
/townmenufor the available settings; mayors and authorized roles manage town-owned land. - Put chest shops and machines only where you have permission. Towny protection checks still apply to building tools and tier perks.
Give up a plot
/plot unclaimgives up your ownership of a plot. It does not remove the chunk from the town;/town unclaimis a separate action.- Move your items and review the town’s rules before leaving or transferring ownership.
