Spawners

Buy, stack and upgrade spawners and fill Soul Cages.

Buying spawners

  • Open /shop and choose Spawners, or use /spawners. Pick a mob to buy its spawner or, for common wild mobs, a cheaper Soul Cage.
  • Each spawner you buy costs 3% more than your last one, across every mob type. Check your next price with /spawnerprice <mob>.
  • Stay out of creative mode and keep one empty inventory slot. Your spawner arrives ready to place.

Starting prices for hostile mobs. Animal spawners start lower; /spawners shows every mob and your own price.

Placing, stacking and mining

  • Place a spawner anywhere you can build. Right-click a placed spawner with another of the same type to stack them, up to 1,024 per block.
  • Mine your spawner with a Silk Touch pickaxe to pick it back up. Mining takes one spawner from a stack; sneak while mining to take the whole stack.
  • Natural spawners, such as dungeon spawners, cannot be collected or stacked onto. Mining one without Silk Touch removes it. Keep bought spawners at least 2 blocks away from natural ones.
  • Hostile spawner mobs need a light level of 11 or lower, like vanilla. Blazes and silverfish ignore light.
  • Mobs from spawners do not pay Jobs money or Jobs XP. Their drops still sell normally.

Soul Cages

  • A Soul Cage costs half the spawner price and counts as a spawner purchase for the 3% price climb.
  • Keep the cage in your inventory and kill wild mobs of its type. The cage lore shows your progress; spawner mobs do not count.
  • When the cage is full, right-click it to awaken it into a spawner.
  • Soul Cages are available for mobs with wild spawns. The table above shows how many kills each one needs.

Upgrades

  • Sneak and right-click a placed spawner to open its menu, manage the stack and buy upgrades.
  • Reinforced spawns about 25% faster. Refined spawns about 50% faster than a base spawner.
  • Upgrade prices are based on the spawner’s price and multiply with the size of the stack.

Soul Overcharge

  • Right-click a placed spawner with an empty hand to open the Spawner Panel.
  • Soul Overcharge doubles the spawner’s speed for 10 minutes, then it needs a 20-minute recharge.
  • It costs 20 Souls plus 2 Souls per spawner in the stack. You need build access to overcharge a spawner. Earn Souls through dungeons and combat.

Spawner Keeper contracts

  • Visit the Spawner Keeper in the lobby, or use /contracts.
  • You get three item orders each day, such as bones, string or blaze rods. Each completed order gives 1 Keeper Token and 50 Souls.
