Money, shops & trading

Earn money, sell spare items and trade with players.

Three different balances

  • Money ($) pays for everyday shops, player trades and tier fees. Check /bal.
  • Coins are used for items in /coinshop, including cosmetics and special purchases. Check /coins.
  • Souls buy custom enchantments. Earn them from dungeon fights, chat games and fishing competitions. Check /souls.

Ways to earn

  • Join jobs, finish island missions and quests, run spawners, sell items in /shop, sell custom fish, trade with players and take part in events.
  • The AFK pool at /warp afk can award money and keys. Stay inside its reward area.
  • Welcoming a first-time Lobby newcomer in public chat within 60 seconds earns $50. Extra words, punctuation and forms such as “wel-come” count. Each player earns once per newcomer across the network.
  • Winning a chat game earns $35, 1 Coin and 10 Souls, with a 10% chance of an extra Coin.

Selling items

Use /sellgui or /sellall to open the same selling menu. Both commands are available to everyone.

  1. Place the items you want to sell into the menu.
  2. Close the menu to complete the sale at the current /shop sell prices.
  3. Items that cannot be sold are returned to you. Leave inventory space for returned items.

/sellall opens this deposit menu; it does not automatically sell everything in your inventory. Only items you place in the menu are offered for sale.

The menu uses the same products and sell prices as /shop. Items without a shop sell price cannot be sold here. Custom or modified items, such as named items, items with custom lore, and skin or reward items, are not treated as ordinary materials.

Sell and trade

  • Use /ah to browse the auction house. Everyone starts with 5 listings; tiers and store ranks can increase the allowance.
  • Use /trade for a trade window. Check both sides before confirming.

Player chest shops

  • Chest shops are available to regular players. Use /pshop or /chestshop; /pshops, /chestshops, /playershop and /cshop are aliases with the same subcommands.
  • Place an empty chest somewhere you have build access, such as your island, look at it, and run /pshop create.
  • Use the shop settings to add products, set prices and stock the chest. Check the displayed item amount and prices before trading.
  • You can also use /pshop create 100 50 to set initial prices. Buy is what a customer pays to buy from your shop; sell is what a customer receives when selling to your shop.
  • Use /pshop list for your shops, /pshop browse to find other shops, and /pshop bank to manage shop funds. Empty the shop storage before using /pshop remove while looking at your shop.
  • Normal player limits are 10 shops and 3 products per shop; eligible ranks may allow more. Island permissions and build-access rules still apply.

Player advertising

Use /ads (or /advertise) to advertise your shop, public warp or other in-game destination. Everyone can book an ad using ordinary in-game money ($). Bookings and broadcasts belong to the server where you create them; they do not run across the network.

Create and book an ad

  1. Save your message with /ads create <message>. For example: /ads create &aVisit Oak Market for tools and building supplies!
  2. Optionally attach an existing public warp with /ads warp OakMarket, or remove it with /ads warp off. Warp names can contain 1–32 letters, numbers, underscores or hyphens. This links a warp; it does not create one.
  3. Use /ads preview to check the message privately. Drafts and previews are free.
  4. Choose /ads book 1, /ads book 3 or /ads book 6. Review the price and estimated wait, then click Confirm purchase or run /ads confirm within 60 seconds. Money is taken only when you confirm. An expired quote needs another /ads book.
AppearancesTotal price
1$100
3$250
6$450

One appearance means one broadcast, regardless of how many players see it. Each player can have one active booking, including a paused booking.

Messages and formatting

  • Write a single message of up to 180 visible characters. It wraps automatically into at most three body lines; wide letters or bold text may need a shorter message. Do not insert manual line breaks. Excessive formatting codes are also limited.
  • Use standard colour and formatting codes such as &a for green, &l for bold, &o for italic, &n for underline, &m for strikethrough and &r to reset. RGB colours use &#RRGGBB, for example &#55CCFFBlue text.
  • Only the red Ad label is bold by default. Your message uses regular text unless you include formatting codes. Obfuscated text (&k) and external website or invite links are not accepted. Keep ads about in-game destinations and follow the server rules.
  • An attached warp adds a Visit /pw <name> line. Clicking the ad body or warp line suggests the warp command in chat; it does not teleport you automatically.

Timing and audience

  • The server broadcasts one player ad at a time, at least 10 minutes apart, rotating between eligible bookings. This is a shared interval, not a promise that your own ad appears every 10 minutes. More bookings mean a longer wait; ranks do not receive queue priority.
  • You must be online on the same server, with at least three other eligible viewers. Vanished players and players who have opted out do not count toward that audience.
  • Offline or paused bookings wait without spending appearances. A small audience also delays delivery without spending an appearance. Ads wait around chat games and server announcements, so quoted waiting times are estimates.
  • Bookings expire seven days after purchase, even while paused or offline. Editing a booking does not extend that deadline.

Manage your booking

  • /ads status shows your remaining appearances, refundable value, time left and pause status.
  • To change a running ad, save another draft with /ads create <message>, adjust its warp if needed, then use /ads update. Saving a draft alone does not change the active ad. Updating keeps your queue position, remaining appearances and expiry.
  • /ads pause switches between paused and resumed. /ads toggle instead controls whether you receive other players’ ads; it does not pause your booking.
  • /ads cancel ends the booking and returns the unused share of its purchase price. Your draft is kept. Expired bookings also refund unused appearances automatically.
  • Refunds use the package price, rounded down to the nearest cent. For example, a $250 booking with two of its three appearances unused refunds $166.66. Appearances already broadcast are not refundable.
  • Refunds can be paid while you are offline. If a refund cannot be processed, it remains recorded for retry. Contact staff if a payment is marked for review.
