Claim land and choose exactly who can use it.
Make a claim
- Hold a golden shovel and right-click two opposite corners of the land. Follow the boundary markers to check your claim.
- A claim needs at least 100 blocks of area and a minimum width of 5 blocks.
- Right-click with a stick to inspect claimed land. Use the shovel on an existing corner and then a new corner to resize.
- You start with 500 claim blocks and earn 60 per active hour, up to 100,000 accrued blocks.
Where claiming works
- Claim in the Overworld, Nether and outer End. Spawn, dungeons and the resetting resource world are not available for player claims.
- The central dragon island is reserved: claims cannot overlap X −256 to 255 and Z −256 to 255, at any height. The outer End remains claimable.
Removing a claim
/abandonclaimremoves the claim you are standing in. Your build loses claim protection, so check the location first.- Unused or long-abandoned claims may expire. Do not rely on a claim as permanent storage while away indefinitely.
